Our Buxton office is located in a great location as we all call the “corner”. The office sits within a three-mile radius of Gorham & Scarborough.
Buxton was settled in 1748 and became incorporated in 1772. Buxton is known for historical factors of sawmills and gristmills along the Saco River. Salmon Falls was the first area to be developed. Saco River is now known for a lot of swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, walking and just great scenery. There are many historical buildings to enjoy and learn of the history within this community.
Buxton offers a variety of businesses from big names to locally own. Although Buxton is classified as rural area we do have our own Hannaford’s grocery store, and Rite-Aid! It allows easy access to the local cities for great shopping, restaurant areas, and much more. Within a half-hour you could be at the Maine Mall!
We as a whole are a close knit community and come together when it comes to the school systems whether after school programs, sports etc. Many of our agents have ties to the Buxton community and not just because the office is located here! Our agents have spent countless hours donating a lot of time to the school system and town recreation department. We are proud sponsors/coaches/volunteers and proud of our 2013 Bonny Eagle State Football Champs! Go Scots!
Our Buxton office has devoted, experienced Realtors who specialize in residential, land, waterfront, foreclosure, short sale and all your real estate needs.

A few years ago, I moved back to my native Maine after living in central Massachusetts for 22 years. I lived in Saco, Falmouth and the South Portland "Willard Beach" neighborhood before settling down and building a new home in Buxton, a pretty country town 10 miles west of Portland. I serve the Portland areas from Yarmouth to Old Orchard Beach on the coast and west to Waterboro, Buxton, Standish and surrounding country towns. I have rehabbed four homes over the years, breathed in way too much spackle dust, been covered with paint (most of it gets on the walls) and banged my head one too many times under a sink tightening the plumbing. I have found this experience helpful when showing homes and going along to inspections. A full-service Realtor now, I started out as a Buyer Agent and have the Accredited Buyer Representative designation from National Association of Realtors. I've taken numerous classes to increase my knowledge in areas such as representing buyers in new builds, 203K FHA rehab loans, handling short sales, investing in real estate and more. About half of my clients have been buyers from out of state and I have also worked with many local first-time buyers. I have great relationships with loan officers, title companies and many tradespersons in the area and can help you find other professionals you will need when purchasing or listing a home. I’m not shy, know how to listen, and try to give timely and top notch service to anyone who entrusts me with such a big decision in their lives. I'm serious about the work I perform but, having a good sense of humor, I make sure the process is fun for all my clients. Come House Hunting in Maine!
