Holiday Festivities in Gray Maine

Christmas in Gray MaineOn the last Sunday of November, the Town of Gray kicked off the holiday season with its annual Christmas tree lighting. The evening began with the Gray-New Gloucester High School Chorus singing carols around the tree. Following the singing Santa Claus arrived on a fire truck to light the tree!

Once the tree was lit, Santa lead a parade of children and their families indoors for crafts, photo opportunities, and a chance to sit on Santa's lap! Some were more excited than others to sit on Santa's lap...

Tsukroff Photography was on hand for those wanting to capture that special moment with Santa. The photo purchases benefited the Caring Community of Gray-New Gloucester.

Holiday Fun in Gray MaineThe Gray Parks and Recreation department also collected unused toys and games, as well as shoeboxes filled as part of their Shoebox Giving Campaign. These gifts will be delivered by Caring Community to local families in need.

This year's Christmas tree lighting event was a lot of fun for all involved!
