On the last Sunday of November, the Town of Gray kicked off the holiday season with its annual Christmas tree lighting. The evening began with the Gray-New Gloucester High School Chorus singing carols around the tree. Following the singing Santa Claus arrived on a fire truck to light the tree!

The Theater Project, founded in 1971 by Al Miller, is a non-profit community-based theater and has been providing entertaining performances, programming for members of the community with special needs, and has taught theater to thousands of children from Maine to the Middle East and beyond
The agents and staff of The Maine Real Estate Network voted for their favorite charities. The first place organization is to receive $10,000, the 2nd will receive $5,000, the 3rd will receive $2500 and the 4th and 5th will receive $1,250 each. The votes have been tallied and the checks are being cut and sent out.
