South Portland is a beautiful coastal community that was established in 1898 after separating from Cape Elizabeth. Located just south of Portland and about 90 mins from Boston, Massachusetts; South Portland boasts beautiful beaches, peaceful parks and a walking trail that takes you from one end of the city to the other. South Portland offers both public and private schools and is also home to Husson College and the Southern Maine Community College which is part of the University of Maine system. South Portland offers both a diverse population and is also a great shopping destination. The community offers a great mix of small, locally owned businesses and large nationally known chain stores. The Maine Mall, the largest mall in the state, enjoys calling South Portland its home.

About Mindy

As a lifelong “Mainer” born in Aroostook County I climbed Mount Katahdin for the first time when I was 11 and later shared this experience with my children when my youngest was 9 years old.  My solid work ethic comes from my “county” heritage waking up at 4am to pick potatoes!

After my husband and I started our family, (we have three awesome children) I was a full time student and studied nursing and social work. My husband has been building homes in the greater Portland area for the last 20 years.  I worked with him for nearly 4 years doing everything from roofing, framing and siding to billing and material orders.

All of this brought me to an obvious move into a Real Estate career.

I was initially licensed in 2006 but stepped out of the business in favor of my kids and my husband’s commitments.  In 2014 with my children young adults and more independent I was able to get back to the work I love.

I am proud of my ability to find common ground with just about anyone and hope that my clients feel comfortable and trusting of the service I can provide.  I especially like working with first time buyers and guiding them through the process.  There is no greater satisfaction than handing someone the keys to their first home; a home and a goal they worked so hard to achieve.

I enjoy all things Maine…the beach, the lake, the mountains…  When I am not working you can find me snowmobiling, on the back of a Harley, or fishing and camping on one of Maine’s Lakes and Ponds; oh and I love Lobstah!

Call, text or email me if you need local help or help anywhere at all. Through my agency’s affiliation with Leading Real Estate Companies of the World I can move you in or out of Maine with experienced, dedicated professional support. And if you like, I can introduce you to those fresh, green potato fields!
