Primo Restaurant offers an excellent, upscale, farm-to-table dining experience. This local favorite has won several awards and is known for its fresh ingredients and homemade specials.

Gelato Rose is a very popular destination for those with a sweet tooth. This little gelato shop is located on Main St. and it is a great place to stop while you explore down Rockland.

Recreation

Waterfront activities like sailing, boating, swimming and fishing are very popular in Rockland because of its ideal location on Maine’s coast. There are also several great golf courses in the area.

In the winter, residents enjoy cross country skiing in town, and downhill skiing at the nearby Camden Snow Bowl.

School & Community

Rockland public school children attend the RSU 13 schools, which has a strong academic reputation. Private schools in the area include The Riley School and Pen Bay Christian School.
