There is always something to do in Monmouth! Their local theater group put on shows year round at Comston Hall, which is also home to the town library. Monmouth Museum has art, history, and science exhibits. They hold the Monmouth Fair every year as well as the annual Apple Fest, a Memorial Day Parade, and a 4th of July Parade.

Food & Drink

TJ’s Pizzeria is a great place to enjoy homestyle meals and pizza. Apple Valley Bakery has fresh bread, donuts, and pies baked daily.

Recreation

In the summer you can find many of the residents down at the town beach. Monmouth is also home to Cobbossee Colony Golf Course, a 9-hole course. The French Mountain Trail is great for a day hike and offers spectacular views.

Schools & Community

Monmouth is a member of Regional School Unit 5, which is an excellent small school district. They boast a 10:1 student/teacher ratio and a 92% graduation rate. The school also recently underwent a state-of-the-art expansion which included a new sports complex.
