Gray Culture

Gray has many town-wide annual events including the Patriot 5K, the Longest Day 5K, the Crystal Lake Ice Fishing Derby, the Gray Rec Halloween Party, the Tree Lighting and Santa Visit, a Memorial Day Parade, and the Crossroad Challenge, a soccer tournament that has over 80 teams that participate.

Food & Drink

Cole Farms offers homestyle goodness in a relaxed family atmosphere. Located on Lewiston Road, across from Spring Meadows Golf Club, Cole Farms offers reasonable prices and even a playground and picnic tables for families.

China Village is Gray’s causal Chinese takeout restaurant, located near the Maine Wildlife Park it’s perfect for grabbing a bite to eat on your way home.

Jess ‘n Nic’s is a great place to grab pizza. Located near Gray Village it’s moderate pricing makes it a go to for local families.

Recreation

The residents of Gray love spending time outdoors, and there are plenty of great spots to hang out around town. From Crystal Lake, which contains Wilkies Beach to the Spring Meadows Golf Club there’s something for everyone.

Schools & Community

A new superintendent was recently hired, which is expected to bring positive changes to the Gray School District. Fiddleheads, a private and charter school, is also located in Gray.
