The Summer Concert Series held in Falmouth Village Park features local musicians on Fridays in July and August. The brand new Flagship Cinema in Falmouth Plaza is the best, most comfortable place around to catch a movie.

Falmouth has three beautiful private golf clubs: The Woodlands, Falmouth Country Club, and Portland Country Club. There are several public courses nearby as well, including Riverside Golf Course in Portsmouth and Sunset Ridge in Westbrook.

The Falmouth is one of Maine’s premiere centers for sailing and boating. The Portland Yacht Club is located here, as is the Falmouth Yacht Club. Handy Boat in Casco Bay is also a great place to keep a boat, and their expert staff has been a local leader in boat repair and maintenance for decades.

Schools & Community

Falmouth Public Schools are considered among the best in the state, which is why so many families choose to live here. The elementary, middle and high schools in Falmouth are all located within a half mile of each other making pick-ups and drop-offs very convenient for parents with multiple children.

There are also several great private schools in the area, including Cheverus High School and the Maine Girls Academy, both only minutes away in Portland.
