Recreation

Bridgton is a perfect place for those who love experiencing the outdoors. From waterskiing and swimming in the beautiful lakes in the area, to hiking in the nearby White Mountains, there is so much to do here. Shawnee Peak ski resort is also located in Bridgton.

The 4th on the 4th Road Race is a very popular event and attracts runners and walkers from all over western Maine.

Schools & Community

Bridgton school children attend the Lake Region School department which also services Casco, Naples, and Sebago. Bridgton Academy is located in town and is a well-respected college-preparatory school.
